Cereals 2023 – A success for our team

One of my annual highlights is Cereals Event. This year’s leading technical event for the UK arable industry took place in the beautiful grounds of Thoresby Estate, from 13-14 June 2023. The show attracted 17,200 visitors with 88% likely to attend again next year.
This is a key event for us at Corteva as it provides an opportunity to see our customers face-to-face and showcase our latest innovations in an environment that is comfortable and welcoming.
We have some of the most recognised crop protection and seeds brands in agriculture and a technology pipeline well positioned to drive growth. The layout of our stand, plots and branding enabled us to easily showcase some of our latest innovations, including:
We were privileged to host the Rt Hon Mark Spencer MP who enjoyed a tour of the stand and gained an understanding about how Corteva is part of the solution to help farmers with the challenges they face.
We offered barista coffee and refreshments all day, including morning pastries and woodfired pizza at lunch time. Visitors were able to pick up one of our famous Big Blue Bags or have a go at guessing how many Corteva mini footballs filled our 1-tonne bag. There was plenty to see and do.
I’ve been to many Cereals Events and organised stands for Corteva (and previously for NIAB). The 2023 event has by far been my favourite! It helps that I really love planning events, but seeing the amazing Corteva team thrive over the 2 days makes it incredibly rewarding. I work with an exceptional group of hard-working colleagues that love what they do.
